I've made some changes to the links on the right. If you've got any personal homepages or blogs ya want me to link to, just let me know.
Here's the answer to the riddle i posted earlier. But let me refresh you on the question first.

Question: There's a fork in the road to Heaven, where one way leads to Hell. At this fork in the road, two twin brothers live who are exactly alike, except that one always tells the truth and the other one always lies. What single question can you ask one of them to find the way to Heaven?

Answer: Point to one of the roads and ask one of them (doesn't matter which one) this; "Will your brother tell me that this is the road to hell?" If he says yes, then take the road. If he says no then take the other road :)

Cheers

Hoo boy. I think i don't have enough sleep. Coz there this perpetual headache that's been following me all day, and there was this black out yesterday.

Um... black out as in eletrical power shortage, ya know? There was this one hour power shortage, and then suddenly the school canteen and student union lounge was filled with people. Aimless and kind of happy that classes were disrupted. Even my house got hit by the outage. How'd i know? No, I didn't cut classes, the microwave clock got reset :)

I woke up this morning as usual and went for my morning shower. I was going to step into the shower cubicle when i noticed the huge nasty creepy crawlie black spider on the cubicle floor. I turned the tap on and tried to flush it down the drain. Turned out that i had to admire it's vigor as it clinged onto the flooded floor.

Reinforcement rain saw an end to the war quickly. As the chinese saying goes about removing roots when cutting grass, i put the kettle on [yes, begin music and end music :p] and flushed the drain with a kettle of boiling rain... god bless the spider in its hot watery grave...

I guess this adds to my ever growing list of phobias. Should i call it phobia? These unfounded fears do not paralyse me with fear or anything. Instead it bestows a merciless zeal upon me. Maybe i shouldn't have drowned the harmless huge nasty creepy crawlie black spider. And if you heard any extreme prejudice towards spiders in that last statement, you heard right :)

And my point being? As i always tell one of my cousins, no point. Timeless chatter makes no points. So now imagine a lone wanderer riding into a huge orange sunset w/o any worldly cares...

......

... Got it yet? Good. Keep that thought coz i'm gonna leave ya with it.

I'm an hour late today. Daylight savings for melbourne ended yesterday. i was supposed to turn the clock back by one hour yesterday. i didn't, so theoretically i was supposed to be one hour ahead of everything right? but somehow i ended up an hour later than everything, which kind of sums up to me being two hours late for everything... now i'm lost myself. what time is it?

Last night was another of those nights in which i had boundless energy yet little to do. Yes, there is always little to do over here. So i went out to the kitchen and put the kettle on. [Begin polly put the kettle on music] "~hon choon put the kettle on, hon choon put the kettle on~" [End music]

Yeah, so i put the kettle on and made myself a mug of three in one coffee. Coffee was bad, so i opened the kitchen cupboard and whipped out a bottle of swiss chocolate coffee to add in my coffee. My housemate who was studying at the kitchen table, witnessed my murder of the swiss chocolate coffee and asked me whether i planned on sleeping at all that night.

I slept soon after. So did i need the coffee? did i need it to stay awake? no, rather i went into the kitchen to make coffee simply because i knew someone was there. ΓΌ see, for me, the coffee is more of a tool for socializing than a beverage by itself. To put it elegantly, it is the beverage of friendship. haha, so wanna have some coffee?

Reflections in a Mirror

Have you ever wondered what a mirror is? well, a mirror is actually a portal into another plane/dimension. so have you looked into a mirror recently? i did, i looked into a mirror recently and asked myself, who's this? There usually was a young little boy who's vibrant with energy and little smiles. where did he go?

"What did you do with the little boy?" i asked of the man in the mirror.

"He got lost along the way to the mirror..." the mirror replied.

Perhaps the mirror lies. But how can a mirror lie? Does the mirror not show a reflection of myself? And if the mirror does not lie, then does it mean that i have lost myself along the way to the mirror?

Ah... reflecting on reflections, i thought i had better things to do :)

Hmm, i changed the date n time to the dates and times in australia and it changes the achived dates. i think i'll wait until some other day to post something new. Meanwhile, here's a riddle to keep ya amused :

There's a fork in the road to Heaven, where one way leads to Hell. At this fork in the road, two twin brothers live who are exactly alike, except that one always tells the truth and the other one always lies. What single question can you ask one of them to find the way to Heaven?

Ha ha, this blog is starting to take shape. i'll be adding images sometime later. That is if i can somehow get the passwords to my web-pages. You'll also notice the links on the right of this page. Monash University, is the university i'm studying at the moment. Mech crusaders the game i'm playing at the moment and friendster where i hang around at the moment. pretty self explanatory huh?
oh well, i've given up trying to figure out out to change the background setting. here i am back in australia, hopefully for the last time, atleast for the last time for education though. suffice to say, friends in similar predicament share my thoughts, i guess studying too long simply burns you out. well, enuff of depressing stuff, i'll try to post some of my philosophical ramblings here next time round.
