I was thinking about my post yesterday, and i do realise that most people looking at the phrases "Wei" and "Oi", would probably intone it wrongly and form a wrong perception in their mind. Well... it's difficult to intone it the way i did, even for those who know me pretty well, coz these speech signature were adapted from someone else, and seldom come up in my normal conversations.



What do i mean by speech signature? Have you ever had a conversation with friend A and then suddenly say "If friend B were here, he would say blah blah" That is speech signature. Tone, pitch, personality, vocabulary and the style of speech all combining into a single signature. Once you've gotten the speech signature of your friend, you can begin conversing with your friend without him/her ever being present. You just use his/her signature when replying to yourself!



Haha, maybe that's why i always talk to myself...
